Location and Fees

Use the contact form below or direct email: larrybarnetttherapy@gmail.com to arrange an initial FREE 20 minute phone consultation to discuss how I may be able to help you, and working together.

The consultation will cover our working agreement: sessions, confidentiality, aims of counselling, and some details about you. If agreed, then sessions are typically once a week, on the same day, at the same time, and location. I look forward to hearing from you. 

Face to face or online sessions are held at 2 locations at either end of Wilbury Road, Hove:

Tuesdays and Wednesdays: Hove Therapy Rooms, 69 Church Rd, Hove, E. Sussex,  BN3 2BB.

Thursdays:  [ formerly The Hove Practice ], 40 Wilbury Road (corner of Wilbury Road and Eaton Road), Hove, E. Sussex,  BN3 3JP.

Mondays, Fridays, or Saturday sessions are possible by prior arrangement only.

Face to face or secure video-link, call, or phone sessions, individuals: £60 per 50 minute session.

Payment is due before each session by BACs (bank transfer). I do not take cheques.

I may have some space for sliding scale fees for students and those on lower incomes and kindly ask with this for a commitment of at least 6 sessions. Please contact to discuss.

* Online or telephone therapy may not be suitable for all clients or certain issues. Some considerations for online counselling sessions:

If you wish to cancel I kindly ask that you give me at least 48 hours’ notice. Non-attendance of an agreed session without notification will be charged for. 

You are not obligated to continue counselling, and can discontinue whenever it feels best for you. However, I kindly ask that the termination of counselling is preferably by mutual agreement and planned, with a period of at least two weeks’ notice desirable.
